Is esports divided into male and female leagues or is it just coincidence that i dont know any female players outside of game changers. if so why?

so despite playing everyday ive never gotten lotus on ranked and on dm i keep getting lost in this map, feels like a maze and i have to constantly be doing 180s. imo this is the worst dm map leaving whenever i get this map
