TL;DR: Post is in response to another post about Omen ult buff. Post says Omen is already very balanced and explains his ult mechanic that lets him grab the spike from another site.

This post is partially in response to a recent post that wanted a buff to Omens ultimate and also just a general post about a trick that probably a lot of you might know but wanted to share just in case.

Omens ultimate can be used for more than just teleporting and information gathering. One of my favorite applications is grabbing the bomb from another site. Yes, you read that right. We have 4 people rush into A site with the bomb, and I (as omen) lurk in B. My team does not play for entry, but rather for picks by purposely stalling and slowly entering, getting as many picks as they can. And eventually when there's only one of them left, they drop the spike inside site intentionally. Here's where Omen comes in. Omen can ult on top of the spike and collect it, then cancel it to plant in B. Even if the enemies break the ult immediately, Omen still grabs the spike. Now, I am in a 1v2 or 1v3 situation where I have bomb down and I am a controller agent. More often than not, I end up winning, and when I do lose, I simply trade my ult in for extra economy next round because of bomb plant.

Keep in mind, this is usually an Eco strat where only I force buy (I buy Armor and a teammate with 2200 drops a bulldog) and my teammates full eco (or with ghost/sheriff).

I apologise for wasting your time if you've seen/known about this before, just wanted to make a point that Omen is one of the most balanced agents and just the fact that his ult is in play can change how the enemies behave in a round. Thanks for reading!
