Hi, if this has been discussed before, feel free to share the original post (I couldn't find anything in the sub).

So there's this quote that Skye says, according to the fandom (https://valorant.fandom.com/wiki/Skye/Quotes), when resurrected by Sage:

• "Wait. This feels...different."

Now, with Skye's abilities being linked to nature, animals and life and thus being more sensitive to life force essence and the such. I was wondering what this implies exactly.

So we know that Omen says this:

• "Sage, the life you give. Do you ever wonder where it's taken from?"

And my thought process leads me to believe that essentialy Sage's healing and resurrection are obviously not pure or harmless. Tieing in with what Skye says, what I'm thinking is that Sage somehow takes souls from others, in a way not much unlike Reyna's (from afar).

Here there are multiple possibilities, this energy seems to come from life sources like other people that Sage harms. Maybe reviving Skye is actually giving part of somebody else's soul, who dies in the process (hence why she feels different).

More precisely, it would also be from another dimension, like the mirror world, which is why Omen says:

• "A Radiant healer is with them. I can feel her pull against the natural balance."

We can interpret this quote by using the principle of conservation of energy, which states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed. To me, this means that Sage definetly gets her energy from somewhere which is what her radiance allows, not creating it.
It's likely for the energy to come from an alternate dimension, since she doesn't seem aware / doesn't want others to know where it comes from.

However, when she takes that energy it creates an imbalance, one dimension having more energy than it's original state and the other having less. In order to preserve the balance, the two would have to either collide, hence forming an unitary space where conservation of energy is respected, or for the same amount of energy to be restored to the original dimension.

TL;DR: Sage sucks souls from people from another dimension to revive her teammates.
