[ AGENT CONCEPT: VOLT ] New high octane electrical duelist.

Volt is a speedy duelist that uses electricity to his advantage to speed him up and slow enemies down. His various abilities make him great at getting early picks to help his team get through the enemies defenses.

Volt's Abilties:

Signature Ability: Swift Surge

  • On activation, Volt will gain a 20% movement speed increase for 5 seconds. Additionally during this time Volt can't be slowed down by bullets or abilities.
  • His weapon spread and recoil while moving will also be increased by 15% making it harder to run and gun with this ability.
  • This ability goes on cooldown for 20 seconds when the duration ends.

Basic Ability 1: Bright Blast (2 Charges, 200 Credits Each)

  • Volt will equip a ball of electricity. He can left click to cast the ball 4 metres infront of him, or right click to deploy it 2 metres infront of him. The flash can be placed through walls.
  • When the ball is cast it will explode after 1 second blinding any player looking at it for 1.2 seconds (which fades away during that time relatively fast) and slowling the player's movement by 35% for 2.5 seconds.
  • The flash is ment for initiating close quarters 1v1s, and combined with Swift Surge it can prove to be a deadly dueling tool. The flash isn't meant to be too long, just enough to give Volt enough time to swing in and get the first shots on the enemy. The movement penalty is what makes it unique, stopping players from just running away to cover when they get blinded.

Basic Ability 2: Lightning Strike (1 Charge, 300 Credits)

  • Volt will equip a small blue charge of electricity. If you left click it will deploy it infront of him which will move forward at a rate of 3 metres per second. If you right click, the ball will stay at the location at which it was placed.
  • Volt can reactivate the ability to summon a lightning strike ontop of the blue charge dealing 30 damage and creating an area of 3 metres in diameter that deals 12 damage per second to enemies standing on it. (an electrical molotov). The molotov lasts for 4 seconds.
  • If Volt doesn't reactivate the ability after 20 seconds of activating it, it will dissapear.
  • The blue charge is visible to enemies to help steer them away from its danger zone.

Ultimate: Electro Sphere (5 Ultimate Points)

  • Volt will charge up himself creating a radius of energy around him (4 metres in diameter) which will damage any enemy within it for 15 damage per second and destroying all incoming projectiles (not bullets).
  • During the duration, Volt will move 7% faster, and shoot, reload, and equip weapons 7% faster. He will also gain 3 HP of overheal every second he isn't being damaged up to a maximum of 150 HP in total.
  • The ultimate will last for 10 seconds, but is increased by 5 seconds each time he gets a kill.

Rebalanced Version

  • Bright blast only slows enemies if they are flashed.

  • Volt will charge up himself creating a radius of energy around him (🟢7 metres in diameter) which will damage any enemy within it for 15 damage per second and destroying all incoming projectiles (not bullets). 🔵Projectiles include grenades, mollies, airborn smokes, raze ult, etc.
  • During the duration, Volt will move 7% faster, and shoot, reload, and equip weapons 7% faster. He will also gain 3 HP of overheal every second he isn't being damaged up to a maximum of 150 HP in total.
  • The ultimate will last for 10 seconds, but is increased by 5 seconds each time he gets a kill.
  • 🔵 A radius will be shown around Volt to indicate how large the radius of his ultimate is to help enemies know when they are in and out of the affected area.
