Are heals really necessary?

I have a funny story with this.

Im S2 and i decided to run a solo queue out of boredom.

I enjoy playing controllers since i get to be a shotgun rat, anyways.

I had both an instalock jett and an instalock chamber, then a second guy locks on killjoy for some reason, i lock in smokes since the other guy is likely to go with an initiator, but then everyone screams "sage" like what the hell??? We already have 2 sentinels you guys want a third?? I tell the guy to play fade since they MADE fade an option rather than sage, but these people are THAT much in need of heals, so i recommend skye since she can work with both heals and info, but the guy doesn't know how to play skye, so the guy just ignores everything i said and locks in sage.

Atleast we're in defense, that should make it easy right?

Absolutely not.

These people have 3 sentinels on B site (Ascent btw) and i'm over here wondering why do i have to retake 2v5?

Because of this player disadvantage and always having to be in a clutch situation i am now bottom frag with a beautiful 6/17/5 and getting yelled at by my team mates since its supossedly "my fault" because surely my silver 2 ass can clutch 1v5 as Astra.

Also i would like to add that they didn't even let me do my ratty playstyle for some reason, i am chilling in my smoke with a judge waiting for these people to push and my team mates yell at me to "Not look for kills" "go backsite" like judges are meant to be played like freaking operators. (I don't do this in attack for anyone wondering).

So to all the high elo players, how necessary can heals be? I really just don't see it.
