Silver and below I rarely see people use them. Are they used a lot more in high elo? Every other game or every game? I'm probably going to learn a lineup or two to help me rank up but I'd like some perspective of anyone in higher ranks

I left a ranked match and got promoted.
That's it. That's the story. I had to leave a ranked match because something urgent (and private) came up. I check a day later, my team won, I got 20rr and an uprank. Probably a niche scenario, but definitely shouldnt work like this.
