Silver and below I rarely see people use them. Are they used a lot more in high elo? Every other game or every game? I'm probably going to learn a lineup or two to help me rank up but I'd like some perspective of anyone in higher ranks

SUGGESTION: 5s timer before a match
Wouldn't a short timer (for like 5 seconds), that starts as soon as you queue for a game, be nice? Similar to cs, where it takes at least 10 seconds to find a game, just to prevent accidentally queueing for unrated?

I think Riot is into something really good with the changes to 5 stack queue.
Since the RR reduction is only for high elo, specially for the Radiant rank, you can think of this 5 stack queue almost as a different mode completly but inside the regular soloQ. I think they want to focus on people that want the full team...
