I have been playing valo since last 2yrs, never had a single skin yet. Do enjoy the skin drops sometimes from killing opponents or teammates sharing the same. But is it really necessary to buy them and what are the benefits in terms of performance or anecdotes?

Something we noticed in game that I can't be asked finding someone to help me make a clip of.. Is if you sprint with neon into the back of your teammates you both get a speed boost. Idk if it lessens neons speed boost but the person in the front definitely moves faster.
