Headshots ding sounds are server's feedbacks. You won't hear it if this is not a real headhot from the server point of view.
But bodyshots audio feedbacks are client side. That means the feedback is generated by your game client without waiting the server to confirm that you actually hit.
It's really frustrating to hear 8 bodyshots, die, then see 3 hits. I even often stop shooting before the enemy dies. I don't know if this is because my connection is not the best.
But this is 100% guaranted that bodyshots audio feedbacks are like tracers : client side.
I would prefer to not have any audio feedbacks than to have false information.

PURE RAGE: If you think AFK'ers were bad, let me introduce you to comp throwers. We lost 11-13, cuz of this guy (JhatuBabe #bich) throwing since 2nd round and we couldn't even surrender. We couldnt go afk as system will "afk penalize" us. (gold mm)
