Ok, I'll start this off by saying that I'm not trying to say that I deserve a higher rank or anything like that. However, I'm extremely confused as to how this ranking system works.
I've been hard stuck in Iron 1 for over a season now. I've gotten match mvp a couple of times and reliably place in the 1-3 positions of the leaderboard in most of my games and I have won more games than I've lost. I even had a 5 game win streak and still nothing. Am I missing something here?
The game clearly states that winning or losing is the thing that matters most, right? I almost always get 2-3 up arrows when I win and rarely ever get 3 down arrows when I lose. So in theory, I should have out of Iron 1 by now, right? I know that individual performance does matter a lot, but I have a friend who's stats weren't all that different from mine and he ended up going from Silver 2 to Gold 1 over the course of 7 or so games.
If anyone could provide an explanation as to why this is? Do I have to start having a certain kda ratio for the game to start caring? I'm about to make a spreadsheet and break down the most notable stats for each team and see if I can find any link as to why I have never seen Iron 2 or above. Thanks for reading this mini diatribe and any advice given.
P.S. While I'm at it, why doesn't this game just give you numbers for your rating instead of this frustrating obfuscating arrow system, you know, like most other games? Is that honestly too much to ask?
