i just recently downloaded valorant and i dont have any friends who play. could someone be so kind to walk me through some basic valorant "terminology" or some general tips please? like wtf is an instalock. i dont want to go around like a fly without a head. any help is appreciated

Have any of you thought about why there is no spike/bomb timer?
I've only played two tac-shooters in my life, Siege and Valorant and I only have about 2 games of CS under my belt.
The main competetive game mode for all these games is Bomb defusal. But none of these games actually have a timer that tell...
