Not sure if I'm posting this right (or if this is the right place to post something like this) but basically the title. I found out that the guy I liked plays val alot and he asked me to play with him (!!!) Except I've only touched this game twice at launch coming over from league but I was so bad (it's my first fps) that I got super fucking embarassed and didn't touch it again till now. I tried again 2 days ago and started with playing dm and spike rush, now I'm trying to play actual games except I can't even unlock comp bc I'm not winning any unrateds :,,,( I know that I should just practice/play more but each game is long and I really have no idea what's happening 90% of the time I just follow someone around and pop a sage heal once in a while

I have no idea where to start esp since none of my friends play and I have to soloq :( I'm left not knowing what to do and each game my team loses BAD bad and we just surrender

I don't wanna look like shit in front of this guy so I'm trying to get to at least bronze or smth but it's been going not well :( :( :( I don't think it's like I'm unable to learn the ropes at all or anything but I don't know how to pick it up, esp alone.

So if there's anyone's willing to help me out (I'm on NA) pls save me lol
