Hello everyone, I just wanted to discuss a not so known topic on changing region in valorant today resets your progression. So basically I started valorant last year in the first act afer beta. It was pretty fun for my first fps game. I then continue progressing, I gain skins , I get the act and episodes buddies... I progress in ranked, from iron to gold in 1k hours. I hit high skill ceiling of raze movement...
I then get to know that I have to leave the country I am in (asia region) and going europe /north africa.
I then research on how can I play on the same account on a different region, and learned that I will need to change region and reset progression.
list of progress reset:
- Transaction history
- Tutorial status
- Match History
- Experience gained through missions
- Contract Progress
- All in game content (skins, player cards, buddies etc.)
- Rank Progression
After reading this I can tell it is not a great system, I do not really care about my rank reset that is fair to change by region , but my long time earned cosmetics, also my rank history, by the way I finished 11 agent contracts on 14, skye is at half. sage/ sova are at 0. Also counting battle pass skins that impossible to get again and old buddies. I even finished this act's battle pass. Let's also not forget the radianite which is pretty expensive.
I would like to find a way to keep my progression or maybe if riot makes a change to still keep it even when changing region. I also know that it is a pain of making new accounts for different region, but other games like csgo do not have that kind of problem. This is my main account too ;( im desesperate please help.
