Why the hell did I go straight to bronze 2 after the first 5 unranked matches is it normal? I mean if I'd performed betterwas there a chance I'd be at gold?

every time I try and get into a game it works until the waiting part after agent select. The game just sort of buffers there for about 5 minutes before kicking me back into the queueing screen. Anyone else experiencing this?
