I like competitive shooters and have played cs and Valorant, I've noticed however that Valorant players, especially in "higher" ranks (I'm d2 atm, a2 peak) seem to despise crouching. This is understandable, once you crouch you're not going to be able to move during the gunfight anymore. The mspeed reduction from crouching + getting hit is just too much. I have however never seen anyone demonstrate the downsides of crouching in any "metrics" (🤓) which I would actually really like lol

Basically what I'm asking is, objectively, what are the pros and cons of crouching? Does your spray get smaller spread? Does your gun get more accurate? Does your spray maybe reset if you crouch during it (a bit, obviously not fully, in cs people often crouch mid spray to help bring down the actual recoil).
