TDLR Game mode idea: Custom training mode that allows you to dictate what a bot/agent will do and then play against that.
Full Idea/pitch:
Problem: • Everyone in the community seems to hate deathmatch for warming up cause (1) the spawns are awful, (2) too many people play DM for the specific purpose of winning DM instead of warming up or improving aim, and (3) you end up fighting most of the times in areas where you rarely fight in a match.
• You need a whole bunch of people to help you practice executes and to practice your defense against executes. Scrims, 5-stacking ranked, or (for pros) playing against your academy team are currently the only way to tryout and observe executes vs. setups.
Solution: Similar to how AimLab lets you practice certain specific scenarios (i.e. taking C-site or defense of A-site on Haven), but here you can practice against specific executes or defensive setups.
Features I'd like:
• Allow the community to share these setups/executes so you can practice
• Allow practice against the bots as well as agents with full abilities
• Allow users to play out the basics of what a bot will do and "record" that basic idea then play against it. Similar to how in excel you can "record" a macro
If you've made it this far I'd love to see your thoughts on this or anything you'd like to add. And if this happened to be viewed by Riot, that'd be pretty sick. I think we could all benefit from a mode like this.
