I'm a B1 player and tend to solo-queue. I was feeling like there are times of day when either:- My team plays very poorly: poor gunplay, no game sense, off comms, etc- My team seems fine based on other games I've played, but the other team is full of seemingly exceptionally good players
So I pulled my match history from the beginning of October 2022 to now (Late November) to see if there are any trends that will let me have more fun when I choose to play Valorant over doing something else.
Win/Loss record per 3 hour period
In general, the later in the evening I play, the better my record is. Sometimes this might be because I and other players are already warmed up, but I don't generally have time for more than 1-2 matches at a time, so I'm rarely playing warmed up.
Over the short time I got data for, my average/max ACS and KA/D have gotten better, but my Win% has stayed in the ballpark of 45-50%.
Map | Count |
---|---|
Fracture | 2 |
Ascent | 8 |
Bind | 7 |
Pearl | 5 |
Icebox | 5 |
Haven | 6 |
Breeze | 5 |
I was wondering if there are maps I'm good/bad on, it seems like I might be slightly better at playing Bind and Icebox. Fracture is underrepresented (only two matches, ending 13-10 and 13-2) I was less focused on my performance on maps because you can't choose, and my goal was to have more fun playing Valorant when I play.
I tried to look into the day of the week also, but there really wasn't anything of note there.
Has anyone else noticed a time of day that you just get obliterated?
