I'm hardstuck diamond 2 (london) and I'm working on improving from this point. However playing unrank with friends I noticed that I can't carry any lobbies. I had more 1v3, 1v4, 1v5 clutches in my diamond games than I ever did in unrank. I checked those people's ranks and they're usually plat-diamond (1 or 2 people) and gold (most of them), so it should be possible. I also see enemy plat3s getting 40 frags in my lobby while they're not even that good, and I don't drop a single duel to them. Meanwhile in the same lobby I struggle to get 1k/d.
So I was thinking maybe this is also why I can't move past diamond. Can anyone point me to a guide or tell me how exactly to carry low level games, so that I could work it out from there? I tried "Just peek everything" and it doesn't work for me - I win my duel or two and then either get killed "off contact" or from some random position or weird timing.
I also feel like my game sense simply doesn't work in lower level games. I have this almost-clutch (with a few whiffed shots) as an example. This was in a diamond3~immortal lobby on london (I'm saying this because these ranks are very different across european servers, e.g. london's plat3 is warsaw's immortal1 from my experience) and I read all of their peeks perfectly, but this literally never works out in low level games. It's like they're so bad at their own game sense that they make themselves completely unpredictable. I can't put it any other way really. However this is also how strong players imitate unpredictability, so there has to be a trick to reading this, is there not?
Either any advice would be appreciated.
