The new patch has finally arrived a day or two ago, and while it did not contain the "big" episode 3 stuff (which is coming next patch), it did take an extra 2 weeks to release. Afaik, this was "the" patch that was supposed to stabilize the game, modernize the engine and increase performance.
Now that we've had a chance to try it out, what do you think? Has it accomplished that? What are everyone's impressions on the new patch in terms of that stated goal?
My own humble impression: it did not go nearly as far as I had hoped.

Riot, I beg you, please stop removing Replication
I understand the need to keep the game fresh. But escalation is just glorified team deathmatch, and spike rush doesnt allow you to choose your guns. Both limit you massively. Replication is the only game mode where we actually get the feel...
