i'm sure some people have figured this out before me, but i figure there's some people who are still scratching their heads trying to find a fix only to be met with old reddit discussion posts about the matter that are unsolved. i would know because all i found in google search results and reddit search results were old posts that had no solutions.
the fix: stream valorant through the browser version of discord instead of the discord desktop program. you will also need to change your valorant video setting to windowed fullscreen > screen share on discord > switch back to fullscreen (unless you like windowed/ windowed fullscreen, you freak).
