Ever since watching his videos, guides and tips. As well as applying self improvement within my mentality when approaching the game. I managed to climb up and reach a new level in my gameplay. Don't doubt the Banana Man's advice.
What I learned and applied from Woohoojin:
- His gunfight hygiene drills, this has cut my autopiloting crouch spraying habit by 80%, which helped me win more gunfights. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KIoTtohkOQ
- His aim training routine for Gold players and above https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OaUdNDdHLE&t
- His movement mastery videos, I will link part 1 here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm_n2lvHbsM&t=159s
- His gunfight hygiene tips for all Valorant guns https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SI7yUp67KT8
- Most of his coaching vods where he coaches players around my rank
What I did myself to help me climb:
- A mentality change, knowing that you cannot control anybody but yourself in game, makes me focus on myself, the mistakes I am making, and what positive and negatives I can extract from the game.
- An increase in quality in comms, giving the right callouts at the right timing.
- Play to learn, and have fun. Instead of obsessing about the end result, and only giving a fuck about the win screen. A quote from Bruce Lee," to learn to die is to be liberated from it".
- Taking more time to learn more about an agent, hoping into an empty map and learn couple lineups and cool tricks that can come in handy a couple times in game.
Hope this helps, I highly recommend the man Woohoojin. I have tried countless guides and tips from other Valorant youtubers, but somehow they always spew the same information and most to nothing worked. But after absorbing content from Woohoojin, results where almost instantaneous. I do not know how the man does it.
