It is hard for me to immediately tell when the KAY/O ult duration ended. I feel like there isn't enough visual and audio feedback to indicate when your KAY/O ult ends immediately. The way I realize KAY/O ult has ended is when KAY/O stops sending the suppressing pulses. It takes 3 seconds for me to realize I did not send another pulse, therefore, realizing that my ult has ended 3 seconds ago.
KAY/O's last pulse makes a slightly different noise and you do have 15% combat stim during ult, but I found them to be hard to notice during the heat of combat / when you are not shooting.
Reyna has a comparable ult which I think has very good feedback. 1. Reyna's arms look very different (very purple) during empress (Although I don't think people use the arms for information). 2. Your screen is darkened and enemy visuals are different. 3. Your screen goes from darkened to bright when Empress ends which is VERY hard to miss.
When KAY/O ults the changes to his arms are not drastic and your UI looks the same.
I was thinking what if KAY/O has the duration indicator bars like during Pheonix's ult instead of the progress circle above your ammo.
Or perhaps something a bit more flavorful could be adding a visual overlay during his ult like the HUD Vayne has in her PROJECT skin when she ults.
Images to help better see what I am talking about.
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
And as always thanks for the dev's hard work.
