I recently hit D3 but to very little credit of my own. Often I'd end up at the middle of the leaderboard and it kind of feels like I just got lucky with my teams having some cracked fraggers. For the past year I've played on a 75Hz monitor, and am considering a switch. A major factor that's stopping me from buying a 144Hz monitor immediately is that I'm not sure whether my refresh rate is to blame for my very average stats, or whether it's my aim and/or general performance.

Another factor is that I cannot currently find any good monitors in my country under the equivalent of 250$.

What do you guys think? If yes, any model recommendations?
