Before I get spammed with "But she has to get kills to be useful, she has little utility otherwise". I'm not saying she's overpowered or broken!
It's just when there's a smurf in the game (happens a lot) or matchmaking gives you unequal teams with one player being a couple ranks higher than everyone else it makes the game way less fun to play. It basically comes down to which team's smurf/higher rated player does better.
For example, even if Jett is technically more overpowered than Reyna, I'd much rather play against a smurf/higher rated Jett because mechanically inferior players can have an easier time trading her and she can't auto-heal herself. If Jett gets a 3k, you know its because that person pulled off a high-skilled play.
Of course winning three separate aim duels also takes skill, but hopefully people can see the difference between a Jett and a Reyna 3k in ranked matchmaking where there is more variance in mechanical skill between players.
Games with Reynas are more likely to have lopsided scoreboards with 30bombs and a couple players with less than 8 kills at the bottom. Trading is one of the fundamental concepts of fps games, and Reyna basically negates that.
**Basically what I'm saying is that games without Reynas are more fun than games without Reyna. It feels more like a team/tactical game without Reyna. Which is the beauty of Valorant. The game would be much more FUN without Reyna, EVEN IF REYNA IS NOT OVERPOWERED RIGHT NOW**
Regardless of how overpowered or weak Reyna is, I would like to see Reyna become more dynamic to make games more fun. Buff/change her ultimate, and maybe modify her two core abilities.
