I've been dropping skins for my friends ever since my nephew gave me this low rank account, resulting to very low econ rating every match. This was absolutely fine since I want everyone to enjoy the skins. However, these past few days I've been queueing up with my gold friends (currently silver 2 this time) and we noticed that even if we win against a team with gold 1-3 players, I end the match with positive KDA, and higher combat score than my gold friends (near the top frag in the scoreboard), I still end up with less elo rating increase according to the game's match history and this site called valorantelo.gg (which we think is accurate). I think riot needs to address this hidden mmr calculations, as players should know which performance stat they should be focusing on to rank up much easier. I searched this valorant subreddit but have found no answers on whether eco rating affects elo rating. If anyone could shed some light on this topic it would very much be helpful :)
