Just curious if this game has any sort of built in SBMM because I picked the game up for the first time over the weekend and my first game on I was paired with people who were in gold/plat. I only know they were in those ranks because the entire lobby was chatting up about where they were in the season. I have absolutely zero experience in this style of FPS, I never played CS I have always been more of a Rainbow, Halo, Cod, these types of fps player, and needless to say those skills acquired from a decade and a half of fps experience does not prepare you for Valorant.
So I am really curious why I wouldn't be put into some sort of beginners/noobie lobby, it doesn't scare me away from the game I can accept getting my butt beat as a new player but it just seems very unforgiving to any new players, imagine Valorant being your first fps ever I can understand why people would quit instantly.
