Does matchmaking consider which agent you're most likely to pick?

I like to play Omen and I'm always pleasantly surprised how no one in my lobbies ever pick Omen, or even controllers for that matter. Is this just because controllers are relatively rarely chosen, am I just really lucky, or does everyone else also have similar experience with not getting a lot of collision?
