Heyo!
Noizeeh here bringing you an educational video where you can see my thought process through the game with text on-screen, the video will be linked at the bottom of this post!
This match is being played on my alternate account and I've solo queued on my main to radiant.
I solo queue a lot and I feel like I have a lot of things to share with all of you who want to improve. If you're Immortal/Radiant already then a lot of this stuff will be obvious to you but there's probably a thing or two to learn.
In this match I'm playing Phoenix, taking on the IGL role because I quickly realised that my team was talkative and that they were willing to listen. This doesn't always happen since every team you play with is different every match you play, but whenever this happens, I do my best to IGL.
The main thing that I focus on when playing Phoenix is to create enough space for my team on attack whenever we hit a site on the map, and on defence I focus on finding the impact frags that will help us securing the round. Phoenix is also a great clutcher thanks to his healing abilities.
The main mistake that a lot of Phoenix players make, including myself, is that they focus on using their utility too much and what happens is that you get caught while trying to use an ability, instead of just focusing on aiming/positioning.
Really hoping that this video helps, and let me know if you have any feedback! Thank you for your time :)
