I just returned from Korea and have started playing comp in NA again. smurfing in the Korean servers was rather uncommon, smurfing in APAC Gold occurred but again, not very common. I have since played 5 matches in NA and have run into 7 smurfs across 3 of those five games in Gold 2. Why is smurfing so prevalent in NA and what is the situation like in the EMEA region?

Basically title says it all - it's a great thing to promote to the younger generation, and hell, even to the "boomers" such as myself.
Staying positive for not just yourself, but for your teammates can really go the distance.
