I started playing valorant almost an year ago, I'm almost level 130, my aim isn't tenz level but it's not dog shit either.

I used to play with my ex so i never really cared enough to play ranked until recently when one of my friends started playing this game and he's a csgo awp jod. So i decided it's time to bring out my competitive side in this game and it's been great so far.

Played 10 games this season, won 9, currently on a 5 win streak and I'm either at the top or the middle of the board with my kills(I'm almost silver 2 now). I mostly play controllers because people don't pick them in my games and i end up doing well enough with omen on bind, haven, brim on ascent/fracture and viper on breeze. I can play all kinds of agents tho, sage on icebox, raze, chamber, kayo, sova, fade etc.

I think most of my progress simply comes down to the fact that I'm actually genuinely, seriously trying to win my games now and the only pieces of advice i can give to people stuck is that you don't even need cracked aim or something, just play your best agents, provide some value to the team thru your util in the best way possible, you'll still get the occasional kills by lurking, watching the backstab etc but don't worry too much about it and the best one... HYPE YOUR TEAM MATES HARD AF. Just trust me, it could be the most mediocre gameplay you've ever seen but you still need to hype them because momentum, mindset are real things.

You can focus on how to improve your skillset side by side, just try and have some fun while you're at it. <3
