Main solution is at the end! I know many have this issue, getting high CPU usage on their Vanguard / "User-mode interface" as shown in the Task Manager.

I had an extremely hard time finding any fixes online, aside from the usual (these have worked for some so give it a go!);

• Reinstall Vanguard - Uninstall it, launching the game will automatically prompt Riot Client to reinstall Vanguard for you
• Exclude Valorant and Vanguard from your firewall settings - Settings > Virus & Threat Protection > Manage Settings > Scroll down and under Exclusions click "Add or remove exclusions" > Add the file/folder for Valorant and Vanguard
• Set Valorant to high priority to lower lag/increase FPS - Task Manager > Details tab > right click on valorant-win64-shipping.exe > Priority > High

If the above solutions don't work, this definitely did the trick for me (it took me months to figure this out and I've had to cancel stream a few times due to the lag it'd cause)

1. In Windows Search bar, type Services and open the tab
2. Scroll down until you find "vgc"
3. Right click > Properties > Set startup mode to "automatic"
4. Click apply and OK
5. In Windows Search bar, type "msconfig"
6. Go to the services tab and check "Hide all microsoft services"
7. Find vgc and make sure it is checked, press apply
8. Restart!
