I've heard a lot of LOUD fans saying things similar to "crowd's don't cheer when their home team loses at home" while trying to justify the crowd's behavior at Locked-In. Lets take a look at the crowd at Champs 2022 when FNATIC gets eliminated by DRX. Now, while this comparison is not completely 1 to 1 because FNATIC is not a completely Turkish team, it was pretty clear both leading up to the tournament and during the tournament that the crowd was on FNATIC's side because Alfajer is the only Turkish player at Champs 2022. Let's take a look https://youtu.be/5xNDbTy4Sio?t=3532 The crowd is roaring, there is applause, and people are staying after the victory to applaud DRX. Locked-In after FNATIC win https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0f99sv1CI_Q&t=3952s Barely a peep. Now, to be fair, there are crowd members clapping and being good sports about the loss, but the difference is palpable.
