Last night we had a really big match in our league, and one of our team's best maps this year has been Icebox. Naturally, we've gained a lot of confidence and knowledge about how the map plays out in a competitive format and which agents are strong on it. Now, this map is unique because you are surrounded by a bunch of shipping containers that are very large and have little to no wallbang ability. Both mid and B site feature an endless number of these shipping containers, so I would say that they are a defining feature of the map.
Unfortunately, last night I discovered a very gamebreaking error with these containers. As you can see from this photo, these shipping containers are given a weight in kg and in lbs.
The container reads a weight of 18193 kg/40110 lbs. However, the standard ratio for kilgorams to pounds is 1 kg = 2.2046226218488 lbs.
Thus, some simple math will tell you that 18193 kg x 2.20462262184880 = 40108.6993593 lbs. Given this calculation, the containers should actually read 40109 lbs, and not 40110.
Even if we try it the other way using the lb to kg ratio of 1 lb = 0.45359237 kg, the math doesn't add up. For example: 40110 x 0.45359237 = 18193.5899607. Thus, the container should read 18194 kgs, and not 18193.
Riot, please tell me what I'm supposed to believe about this map. Please spend some time working on your game. You shouldn't be releasing new maps when there are very glaring issues with other maps that have been around for months.
