hi, my laptop sucks :) when i first started valorant, my game was smooth at around 40+ fps. idk i never really checked. but after an update, my game started having lag spikes, and after a bit of googling, capping my fps at 30 worked, and it was smooth again. and after a few more updates, i started getting lag spikes again… so i switched my resolution to the lowest (stretched and super low quality). i’m still doing decently in valorant, but sometimes i miss having a smooth, high resolution valorant. before i had to downgrade my resolution, i could use 40fps for a while and holy shit everything felt so much easier. and sometimes i just wonder how much better i could play with higher fps and a clearer resolution.
anyways, are you guys also seeing a drop in performance after every update, or is my laptop just crap? and is there a solution :(
edit: forgot to mention that after the recent updates, my 30fps sometimes drops to 25-30 and that’s when my game starts getting annoying to play lol.
