As someone who played 2,000+ hours of CSGO, I can say most of my improvement came from playing Community Retake servers - they simulate competitive rounds extremely well and give you experience of playing the same situation over and over and applying aim, game sense, and teamwork all together more than anything else.
In Valorant, though we don’t have the community server option, Riot could have a long goal of developing this kind of game mode for players wanting to practice and really improve. I say “long” because I can see this being a pretty challenging game mode to get “right”, where it has the right kind of matchmaking, appropriate pace, and effectively creates real retake situations like those players experience in game.
Thoughts? idea came to me from seeing someone mention this in comments from another post, wanted to make one all about this to give it the attention I think it needs.
thanks :)
