Today I played rank for the first time. I play from South africa so my ping is scary high and I was afraid that my team mates would shun me for being slower to react. Instead I made 3 new friends and all three followed my stream, joined discord and we won 4/5 games for my placement. We did fairly well and I focused on not dying and participating but ended up in bronze. During the games there were a few extremely toxic people. They didn't bring me down or anything it just got me thinking that I'm sick of toxic people influencing a community. Wouldn't it be cool if we could all try to do our best to get Valorant's community to a level where we help each other? I took Bob Ross'saying 'painting should be fun, if nothing else.' And thought the same can be applied to games.
