All in all the stream today was awesome. It was structured well, it was executed well, and it was very informative as to what's coming down the Valorant pipeline.

I will say I was a bit frustrated not to have anyone mention game play optimization or server performance. Valorant has improved in these areas (specifically a fix which addressed a hitch that was occurring in combat released in patch 1.11 if I remember correctly) but there still are remaining issues.

Several players are reporting that some games feel substantially worse than others. Some common symptoms are high latency in general but a telltale sign is when the player knifes a wall and the decal doesn't immediately appear. Other players have indicated that the game feels worse at high fps, which indicates that either the player's upload bandwidth or perhaps the Valorant servers themselves are incapable of quickly processing all the info sent by high fps clients [and the latter seems likely, as several of the players complaining of this have reported high upload bandwidth. This doesn't preclude other issues with their ISP, but it also doesn't exclude Valorant's servers as the source of the issue either].

The odd thing is that as someone who has experienced this myself, it doesn't seem related to my ping or system latency and I don't show dropped packets when it's occurring. Some servers just feel jittery, as if my client is seeing things 1/5th of a second late (even when considering ping). It isn't an issue that many in the player base are experiencing, but because it heavily impacts competitive integrity for the players that experience it, it's extremely important!

Are there any known issues in regards to netcode, hitreg, or game performance on Riot's radar? In any event, great work on the stream today. We're all extremely excited to get our hands on the new content tomorrow. Keep it up Riot!
