Good morning, my name is FLFeed a player from the eu server and today i managed to get to diamond in my first act playing this game. Im making this guide so that everyone willing to put some EFFORT can improve in their rankeds and game sense, i will avoid the typical tips and tricks that everyone already knows.

Disclaimer: This is not my first shooter, im a predator player in apex legends so the muscle memory helps a lot, however my tips will be useful even for someone whose first game is valorant.

  1. Dont be afraid to try agents. This journey started as a reyna main and finished as a kayo main. TRY agents, even the ones you feel like you wont like and once you have played around 2 games with each agent start focusing on 1 or 2 that you really outperfom with.
  2. People are as bad as you, so be confident. Stop slow peeking every corner, stop holding areas in really close ranges where you got no change to relocate. Enemies are on your same rank, they are not better than you by any means. Start trying to peek with confidence and be agresive, everytime you die being agresive you will understand what you did wrong and re apply it to your next round. EXAMPLE: lets say you are the one who wants to hold hookah in bind, dont hold it from the inside, stay on site and try to get a shot and if you miss instead of repeeking you can relocate and find a better shooting angle.
  3. Forget about learning EVERYTHING. In 1 month learning every agent, every angle, every flash was impossible. You should focus on learning your most liked spots and agents nothing else. From my experience, breeze is my favourite map, well, i still dont know a sites crosshair placements and spots. does it matter? not as much as it seems. if you focus on being perfect in one side of the map you will win more round than just trying to get "decent" at everything.
  4. Routine to crosshair training. 15 minutes in the firing range and a free for all game, if your aim is bad that day you should consider investing more time in the session or dont play at all for that day.
  5. YOU DONT NEED TO SPAM GAMES. every game you play is a possible step back in your progresion, dont overplay, you need to understand that every game you play unfocused will create bad habits and also lose you the points you got on the good ones. Playing more than 3 games a day is suboptimal (for me) and you should only play if you are feeling good and being focused.
  6. We all get bad teammates dont fall for them and mute them. Yeah we all got that 1/9 jett flaming us at some point of the game. Just mute her, is not worth keeping her unmuted for the "maybe she gives calls" and losing your mental during the game. she wont help you, just mute.

I will try to keep people updated on stuff and i would like to answer all of your questions since i may have left important things that i didnt think about. AMA all you need.
