This is pertaining only to when one should buy full armor; as a low rank (B3 ~ S1) comp player.
Currently I am being a meta Andy, and going with the half armor strat we saw from Fnatic at Lock/In.
I have seen an increase of rifle buy rounds, and as a rifler; I am very happy to flex the Vandal/Phantom skins I bought more often. But even though I am low rank (playing with poor aim and even poorer game sense), being able to buy rifles consistently and more often to me is better than being able to survive 25 armor worth of damage more often.
And there is my conundrum: I am at a loss as to when a full armor buy is good? at the moment; I generally buy to have an after round cash value around 3300 ~ 4000 (as this is the amount needed on average for rifle, half armor, and full util buy). So if during the buy stage, I have around 5K cash round minimum after I buy util and rifle, then I would go for a full armor buy.
For the data masters out there, is there a statistical advantage/benefit to going only half armor exclusively? e.g. if a whole team adopts the half buy strat, is there an increase of drops for allies which leads to more rounds won or more rounds with only 1-2 enemies that survive the round (more economic damage to enemy team).
