Ive been playing val w my gf for like 2 years now. I used to be immortal but I dont play nearly as much as i did before so we both are in diamond. We usually play after work or during the weekend from anywhere between 11pm - 2am

For the most part our experiences have been mostly positive. I wont lie I am definitely not exempt from being toxic myself, I get upset sometimes and have called out teammates for making bad decisions or something along the lines of that. My gf is the opposite, she never gets upset except for the rare occassion, she experiences alot of hate and attention for no reason yet still tries using her mic.

There have been times where someone has gotten upset with me, or Ive gotten upset with them, and for literally no reason attacked my gf.

For example one time this dude got super angry at me for flashing him and literally wouldnt let it go even though he didnt die and we ended up winning the round. We started arguing and my gf just told us to relax and he went in on her for being a bottom fragging e girl getting boosted by her nerd bf~ "Shut up your dumb boosted e-girl is holding us back" or "shut up loser e-dating cringe nerd lord 5000" or something like that is always said after an exchange between me and someone else.

I honestly dont even know how tf these people know we are queued up LMFAO we dont have matching names. Even when she doesnt say anything about the situation, if she has used her mic, they will try to use her playing badly or going negative as a way to get to me.

I actually dont understand that mindset or what saying those things are going to accomplish, every time they say something to her she says the same thing "WTF did i do, I didnt say anything".

I also noticed that when we get a quiet lobby, the second my gf starts using her mic, everyone starts becoming a comedian or someone starts dropping the fact that they are smurfing and doing homework and not trying.

Those games everyone ends up using their mics, someone ends up yelling and screaming every time they die and laughing so damn hard. Someone ends up mentioning they're a smurf whos doing homework or in a zoom call or in class or something. Someone talking and making random or disgusting jokes at their own expense. After each of these games someone offers to boost her or theres always someone trying to add her after we get out of the lobby.

Anyways, I was just curious if anyone who duo's w women has experienced something like this.
