Help with eco rounds

On rounds where people would typically buy the sheriff with small shields, is it okay to get a spectre without any shields? Im no one tap machine and i think this is better suited for me. Thoughts?

Comms broken?

I load up Valorant with my friends and see we are all muted, I typed to my random teammates aswell and they are also muted. Is this a riot issue at the moment or are we all false muted?
