I've seen a lot of the posts about hidden MMR (matchmaking rating) vs rank rating, but still trying to wrap my head around what's happening here (losing 26 rank points per loss but only gaining 13-14 rank points per win). From reading threads, it seems like there are two things that could be happening, but they seem a bit conflicting:

1. My hidden MMR is higher than bronze 3 so I am being penalized for losing games to opponents around my level
2. My hidden MMR is lower than bronze 3 so the rank rating is trying to "pull me back" towards my true MMR, and keeping me from moving further away from it when I win
