Lets keep it civil but I'm curious to know why people don't consider Ascendant high elo: 95% of players are lower than Ascendant. I think the reason people don't associate high elo with these ranks is because the skill is bad: which is true, I am in no way saying Ascendant players are high skill.
elo is a separate measure from skill.
Being Ascendant does not mean you're necessarily great, but you're better than ~90% of the player base and that is a fact. Of course I agree most ascendants would lose to immortals and definitely lose to Radiants and I know there is a massive skill gap even between the different immortal ranks. If you graduate in the top 5th percentile of students you're smarter than the other 95%, so the same logic extends to this distribution of players.
Again, not saying Ascendant is good skill wise, but being higher rank than 95% of people does technically make you high elo.
Be proud of being diamond/ascendant you're doing better than a huge majority!

Is my crosshair accurate? I'm new, bad at aiming and want to be sure it's 100% a skill issue. As you can see at the end, some I get right and others I blow it when it's right in front of me.
