Hey guys. I live in Western Canada and so my closest server is supposed to be Oregon. But a couple weeks ago my closest server became Illinois/Texas even though I have not moved.
I used to get 50ms ping on Oregon before but now I get 100 ping for that and 97 ping for North California. By contrast I get 47ms ping for Illinois and 67-70ms for Texas.
Has anyone had this issue and found a fix for it? Even if you haven't had it, does anyone know of a possible fix? I can't properly play with my friend that literally lives in the same city as me.

What do you say when people tell you to stop sweating or tryharding?
Generally I'm not sure what answer people are looking for. Am I wrong in thinking that there's only two outcomes here where you are better or they are better? Is it common for people to just let the enemy team win by request or try and play...

Fucking rediculous. Teamkillers in COMPETITIVE need to get banned more often.
The Brimstone, Viper, and Raze on the friendly team continually sabotaged the team by cornering either me or the Reyna and proceeded to kill us using acid, grenades, or Mollys. The enemy team was just fine. PLEASE DON'T HARASS THESE PLAY...
