Is putting my dpi higher then lowering my sens better? Like right now I play on 800 dpi at .3 is there a difference if I put my dpi on 4000 then put 0.06 in game sens? Is anything smoother or is it just the same

Immortal 1 match MVP 2 arrows up vs Immortal 1 bottom fragger 3 arrows up
Just wondering if someone can explain to me this ranking system. We're both immortal 1, I am match MVP and he is bottom fragging. And for some reason he got 3 arrows up and I got 2. Does this make any sense?
