From Iron 1 to 20 RR away from Ascendant, the journey has been fun and yet ungodly frustrating. When I hit Silver, Gold, and Plat I said, “This is it. No way I’m breaking this barrier”. Yet, here I am… but this time is a little different.

I just can’t seem to keep up with the higher ELO players. It blows my mind how hard you get punished for making a mistake. Brimestone and Skye have been my mains since I hit Diamond, but now it feels like I have 0 impact. I’m always at the bottom of the leaderboard and simply feel like I drag the team down.

I believe my MMR dropped quite a bit because I was thrown into a game with mid plats/low diamonds. This game I cleaned house with match MVP.

I know on paper Diamond 2,3 and A1 are right next to each other… I just can’t believe the skill gap between the 3 ranks. It’s a whole new feel to me. Playing against old immortals is quite the experience. Any tips are greatly appreciated!
