It can't be only me who has noticed this. Lots of players just ego peeking, not listening to calls, not making plays, and a whole list of other issues. Not saying that it never used to happen before but this act it's happening a tad bit too much. Maybe i know the answer, maybe I'm trash, idk anymore.

Asking for an ACE doesn't really count as an ACE
This is just my opinion but everytime I watch ACE clips there's always a few that say "Let me get the ACE" right when I hear that then it loses that clutch/wow feel. And I think that an ACE is more rewarding when you're not asking for it....
