I hear people saying that the Phantom is technically better than the Vandal, but I don't see it.
I've consistently been hitting my shots first, but all they have to do is land a single headshot and I die.
I seriously don't understand how I even have a chance. I feel at a disadvantage for even using this gun.
Please help me.

The easiest way to buff Cypher is by buffing his Camera
Imagine Cypher with the following changes:
* Camera cooldown after recalling it: from 15 seconds to 7 seconds
* Camera cooldown after it gets destroyed: from 45 seconds to 25 seconds.

Escalation is a better deathmatch mode than deathmatch.
For multiple reasons :
* less backstab because less players
* more weapons used (if you don't change it in deathmatch at least)
* you won't win if you camp because spawn algorithm is different.
