I’m currently gold but play in many plat lobbies. So far I’ve only noticed a minuscule difference in skill from gold to plat (from my experience the jump from silver to gold was much more noticeable). How big is the difference in skill from plat to diamond, and from diamond to immortal? In one of my games I played against a D1 who was easily the best player in the lobby. But apart from their aim, they weren’t as good as I expected a diamond to be. From what I saw, their understanding of the basics/fundamentals was just much better than mine. But that’s something that will come with experience as I climb through the ranks.
