How can many pros use the Logitech G Pro X headset when it sounds so bad and its so hard to figure out where enemies are?

I've been using the Audeze Mobius headset for the last year, been ranking up from gold to immortal with them and 95% of the time when I listen to a footstep in-game I know exactly where is coming from and how far the enemy is.

Today my headset broke and I went to purchase a new one, since I saw that many pros use the Logitech G Pro X I went to get it.

I load into a deathmatch and when I hear footsteps I have a hard time figuring out where they are coming from. Its like all the sounds are mixing together and are muffled (almost like im sitting inside of a car), so its very hard to tell the direction and distance of the sounds.

Now I have to return them and decide which headset I want to buy instead.

I'm not buying the Mobius again because even though the sound great, the plastic is very thin and weak in the joint of the earcups and it fractures very easily, apparently this happens to many people.

If anyone has any suggestions for high-quality headset feel free to let me know.
