I haven't really read up on the lore of Valorant, mostly because I don't know where to find it, and the like, but the latest cinematic with Yoru had me thinking.

Are character deaths like this in cinematic's canon? We just saw the end of 3 characters (Jett, Viper, and Cypher) with barely seeing any characters progress? Do we just have to forget about these characters for the cinematic's now?

If so, I am disappointed for the lore. I was really excited to learn more about her, and her regret/innocence from what happened in Italy.
